Getting My Hunting Gear Ready For Deer Hunting Season |

Deer hunting in my family is a time for bonding and cracking jokes. My Uncle and cousins come up from Florida and I have been waiting for months in anticipation. After my family arrived we had some breakfast and loaded up our hunting gear, and hit the road. This is going to be the ultimate hunting experience. I will be the only one bowhunting this year and I am looking forward to besting all the rifle men.
We all separated and I took up my position a couple of miles away from where I knew they would be hunting. I found a heavily used game trail and climbed a tree right off the trail, and waited. I heard several shots and I knew that they would drive the deer up to me, it was just a matter of time. I heard something coming up the trail and with my vantage point, I would be able to get a pretty clear shot, if the deer stopped like I thought he would. About twenty yards down the trail I saw him. He was a beautiful eight point buck and I was ready to take him. He moved to within about 15 yards, stopped and I took my shot.
I was the envy of my whole family this year. I can not wait till next year.
