Hunting Gear Should Include a First Aid Kit |

Since it's August, and hunters are getting their hunting gear all sorted out and in order. I ordered this first aid kit for my husband's hunting gear. None of his hiking buddies had one in their hunting near, nor did my husband, so it seemed like a no brainer. Anyone who spends any time out in the great outdoors should have a first aid kit, either on their person or nearby. This first aid kit includes antibiotic ointment, aspirin, antihistamines, moleskin (so useful for blisters), and bandages, among other things. It will clip to the belt, but chances are the guts will leave it behind in the car because they are stealth hunters and like to be as quiet as can be.
They don't go far from the car when they are hunting, so this kit will be really handy for minor injuries. Other things that they include in their hunting gear are ways to heat meals. Although the weather can be unpredictable, they do take a solar oven along to heat up the food they eat when hunting. They like the solar cooker because there is no need for a campfire that would scare nearby wildlife and it takes no energy. It's the ultimate in quiet, and an essential part of their hunting gear. |
